I swear, I don't know where these days go. One minute it's spring, then there's a flash of sunlight and a wave of heat and humidity, and before you know it, fall arrives. This past week the sun was shining brilliantly and the kids were off from school, so we visited a nearby playground. But looks from the inside of a warm house can be deceiving. It was actually quite cold outside. The boys didn't care - they ran and shouted and teased and laughed - the way boys do. And while the kids kept plenty warm, running and playing, my bones felt the blustery air push through me as I stood and watched. Did summer even happen?
